Porter began crossing operations to the United States in 2006 as Transportes Gasa (certified C-TPAT company) with a small fleet.

Four years later, because of its growth, came the need for independence, to increase the fleet and to start giving services to other companies with its own identity: Transportadora Porter.

Manifests

Our clients receive automatic notification via email when their shipments arrive and are released in u.S. Customs.

Barcode reader

For convenience and an easy process, we have a barcode reader gun, with this gun the customs agencies send us the “pedimentos” via email, we print and scan them to verify the correct reading of the barcode. This way we ensure upon arrival at mexican customs office that there is no problem with the reading.

INFRAESTRUCTURe

We have offices in nuevo Laredo, México and laredo, texas in the united states, as well as a yard at both locations with capacity for multiple units and boxes.

 

Equipment.

We have a fleet of 30 units, equipped with GPS satellite tracking and each one has ties to secure shipments effectively.

Our operators are in an ongoing training program and assessment to maintain and improve quality within the operations process.

Likewise, operators and staff are trained in prevention and detection of prohibited substances
